Application of Terms; Customer Acknowledgment

These Terms constitute a binding contract between the Customer and Torasource (PTY) Ltd. The Customer acknowledges agreement and acceptance of these Terms by making a purchase, placing an order or otherwise shopping on our Website (the “Site”). These Terms are subject to change without prior notice.

Delivery Policy

 All orders are shipped at the instruction of the customer & as a result the customer will be liable for the items once it has left the premises of TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD.

• All orders are shipped by TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD without any insurance.
• An order will be considered completed by TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD once it has been collected by the customer &/or the shipping company.
• TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD will not be held liable for any damages or losses that may be incurred during transit via theft, looting, hijacking, fire, mishandling, negligence, acts of God, or any other cause that is out of our control [force majeure].
• Additional packaging costs may be incurred by the customer when requesting TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD to ship solar panels. Goods that are fragile need packaging which will incur an additional fee.
• Goods will be delivered within 2-7 working days.
• TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD do not ship internationally.
• TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD only ship our goods nationally (within South Africa).
• The customer should provide their full shipping address and contact details for the courier company.
• The customer should avail themself within the 2-7 working days to receive the goods.
• The customer may organize their own courier, provided TORASOURCE (PTY) LTD are notified beforehand.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is required after payment has been made then an email to the specified sales team will be required by the consumer which should entail:

• Reason for cancellation.
• Consumer banking details.
• A cancellation time frame of 48 hours will fall into place once an order has been placed.
• If the order is cancelled after the 48 hour time frame a 5% penalty will be incurred for the processing of the specified order.
• If the order is cancelled within the given time period then no penalty will be incurred.

Prices are listed on our website, and are subject to change without notice. All prices INCLUDE VAT unless otherwise stated.

All pricing is subject to change. We reserve the right to make adjustments to pricing, products and service offerings for reasons including, but not limited to, changing market conditions, product discontinuation, product unavailability, manufacturer price changes and errors in advertisements.

All orders are subject to product availability. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fulfil customer’s orders. If a product is no longer available, we will offer an alternative (subject to a partial refund or pay in, depending on the price difference of the alternative), or offer a full refund on the item that is out of stock.

Most items on backorder are ordered from our overseas warehouse. Please note the backorder ETA (estimated time of arrival) are only estimates. Shipments do occasionally get stopped by customs for routine checks and may delay your order by a few days

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our Web site(s). However, the documents and graphics published on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. We make no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site. All such documents and graphics are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

Acceptance of order occurs once we start processing your order. Completing the order on our site does NOT constitute an acceptance of an order.

If an error is made and a product is listed at an incorrect price, we shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order has been confirmed and you have paid, we shall immediately issue a credit. We also do not guarantee that our prices listed on other web sites or price engines are accurate or up-to-date.

Limitation of Liability

NEITHER TORASOURCE PTY LTD NOR ITS AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. NEITHER TORASOURCE PTY LTD NOR ITS AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES BY THIRD PARTIES. THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROVIDED DIRECTLY BYTORASOURCE PTY LTD OR ITS AFFILIATES, NEITHER TORASOURCE PTY LTD NOR ITS AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE RAND AMOUNT PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICE(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. We will not be responsible for any delays in delivery which result from any circumstances beyond our control, including without limitation, product unavailability, carrier delays, delays due to fire, severe weather conditions, failure of power, labour problems, acts of war, terrorism, general insurrection, acts of God or acts of any government or agency.

We will not be held responsible for any typographical errors including instructions, descriptions, prices or terms.

We will not be held responsible for missing, damaged, or late package delivery by the shipper. 

Please ensure you have delivery of your item before scheduling 3rd party services to come through to your premises. With this said, Geewiz will not be held liable for electrician, plumber, handyman or any other 3rd party service fees/call out costs incurred.

As per the nature of electronic items, Geewiz will not be held liable for 3rd party fees/callout costs should the device be faulty. Full warranty will of course be honoured for any faulty item(s) themselves.

Orders; Payment Terms

Payment is due before shipment, unless credit terms have been arranged in advance. No item will be shipped out until Proof of Payment has been emailed to ACCOUNTS@SOLARWIZEAFRICA.CO.ZA We allow a maximum of 48 hours to complete order payment. Failure to do so will result in the order being cancelled.
